Nice to see another CA chard with a touch of 'age' on it performing well.
Very pale yellow color, more like SB than Chard; super clear. The nose has hints of pear, nectarine, and spice, with a just a touch of smoky oak. Flavors of sweet pear, spice, fig, and nectarine, long finish w/a nice acidic zip to it. Everything still in balance and very fresh.
91 pts., $28, "A" QPR. Will probably cellar another 2 yrs. + in optimal conditions; shows little sign of decline. I'll buy a couple more as I really enjoyed this one.
...hey, chief - you gonna finish that bottle?

Glad to hear these can age; Just picked up the 2000 when we visited M-T on our NOv. trek through Sonoma. The 2000 had a bit of a spicy touch to the taste at first but was more balanced after it had been open for about 30 minutes or so.
I also picked up a bottle of the "Doblas Lias" which they were not tasting (unfortunately).

BC; If you're gonna drop off the case as 'banquet bar wine' show me to front of the receiving line. Besides, it's only a 4-hr. trip to STL from Louisville, and I've family I haven't visited in many a moon.
I spent some early childhood years in the So. County area out Telegraph Rd. just south of the JB bridge.
