This wine is 100% Syrah. This was one wine that I think needed to be opened at Otis' party on Saturday.

This wine seemed like it was starting to go downhill. More aging is not beneficial in my opinion. The nose was rather plummy. It was medium bodied with a somewhat dry texture. It had a meaty/cardboard taste with dried red fruits. Drink now. 88 points.

I was worried about this one, but thought it had an admirable balance of fruit and structure for a wine this age. Black pepper and black raspberry flavors. Nice clean nose. Sigh of relief. 89P
