This one scored 88 points from WS, and was a wine we first had 5 years ago in Pakistan. It had arrived after travelling two days by truck over some pretty mean roads, but at least it was cushioned with a lot of other wines on the same truck, and it arrived in winter and so did not get cooked en route. Nonetheless, we were less than impressed with it then, but decided to try another bottle now, for old time's sake if nothing else.

Well, not much has changed. We still didn't much like it, it was a bit thin, and a little harsh, and not too fruity, and well, we didn't much like it (did I say that already?). CAD$19. And we matched it with ribs, as recommended in the catalogue.

Apparently this wine is made solely for export. Such wines tend to make me suspicious of their quality, though I cannot really say why.......

For $8US I think it is OK. I have had other $8 wines before and some of those were a lot worse than the bin #2. Just my .02 cents worth.

Life without wine?...... Yeah Right.

I believe we have 2 lives; the life we learn with and the life we live with after that.
