I picked up a bottle of this today for $12.99. It is a 13.5% Alcohol red Zin from St. Helena. Has anyone had this recently or any other reds from this winery? This will be my first time trying a wine from this producer. TIA

Intense and deeply concentrated, with Ripe, dark berry fruit , blackberry , bing cherry and aromatic herbal spiciness aromas. Full bodied , with big rich fleshy flavors show rich fruit extract with soft tannins.. and a moderatly long finish ( 30 second )

a real winner and showing nicely , i have two left, tasted 3 so far in 6 month intervals with exact cloned notes Razz

i give it a 91 as far a showy zins are concerned

John Buehler, Sr. and his son, John, began the renovation of the property that would become Buehler Vineyards in 1971. Located six miles east of St. Helena and nestled in the mountains above Conn Valley, Buehler Vineyards encompasses some 300 acres of Napa Valley hillside terrain. After a quarter of a century of growing grapes and over 20 years of winemaking from those vines, their focus remains on varietals that are best suited to this site: Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.
