Expected more from JS's 90-pt score and note. Typical Sauvignon Blanc with notes of grapefruit, sour apple, tart tropical fruit, cut hay and grass, as well as boxwood. Nothing really special on the nose. A little lazy on the palate losing focus of acidity and fruit. Fairly easy-going but becoming undrinkable at room temperature (becoming too harsh). Overall served at proper temperature it was OK, but disappointing based on expectations. Almost no fruit on the palate on the second day. Less racy and outgoing than a NZ, less elegant than good SB from the Loire. 86 points.
