I decided to pop one of these early as I hadn't tried any '08s from the Left Bank.

As expected, this is very tight, opening with time to reveal charcoal & warm brick framing cassis flavors, solid wall of ripe tannins on palate, powerful finish. I will wait a good 10 years before trying another one.
90 pts.

Thanks for the notes! I have three of the 08 and three of the 05. Maybe I'll open an 05 in a few years.
