Truly one of the most spectacular '05 Burgs I've tried. DRC's included. Granted, Tart is a style that most seem to either appreciate or could do without. I appreciate them. Night one, this wine was very tight and not giving much. Some anise, crushed blueberries, and plenty of oak on a toasty tannic finish. Night two, this wine started coming around, with blueberry pie, violet, anise, and toasty oak. By night three it was singing beautifully with intense blue fruit, amazing perfume, and a palate staining finish. No signs of oxidation throughout the 3 nights I tried this. Intensely long palate staining finish. This could be immortal....96+ pts.

Get a hold of the 2002 and enjoy it in about 5-10yrs. Thanks for the note on the '05. I had some '02 for sale but I have already sold it. If you do not mind me asking what is the '05 priced for?

The store is called Liquor World. I work at the LaGrange Road store off I-265 (exit 30). We are located next to the Kroger in Forest Springs shopping center. We do not stock a lot of Bdx or high end Burgundy, but have access to some via special order. Let me know if there is something in particular that your sisters are looking for. my email is justinhome at msn dot com

You win some and you loose some. I have never tried Clos de Tart. I prefer Gevrey to the others, but am always looking for the new experience. Variety is the spice of life, as they say..
