Wine Spectator's #64 wine of 2007. 91WS pts.

This is a great bottle of wine. I think 91 is conservative.

Nice dark color with black fruit and plum on the nose. I think their drinking window of Now-2012 is spot on... This drinks well now but may improve another year or two. Good with and without food.

Great balance. It really gets exciting and separates from the pack on the finish... A mix of great flavors kick in and the finish goes on and on. 93pts from me. For $20.94, I can't think of many wines that compete at this price. Excellent QPR.

Great tasting note - no esoteric bull$hit. Based on your note, I will look for this wine. I have been impressed with my few recent Douro wine experiences.
