This is the first wine made via a joint venture between Orin Swift's Dave Phinney and Joel Gott. It is 100% French grenache from the village of Maury in Roussillon. The vines are over 60 years old.

This is a very concentrated wine with large amounts of purple and blue fruits with a core of spice on the back end. After the 1st sip I decided to decant it for 2+ hours and it made a world of difference. It has some Clio like ripeness without being flabby. This wine is young but quite hedonistic. Enjoy now with air or let them sit for a while. 90pts. A very good $30 wine.
