Quite ripe already. Nice nose of blackcherry and slightly animalic scents. Medium bodied with somehow hidden Sangiovese sweetness on the palate. Accidity on the upper level. Fruit-driven finish. Fine wine, although not near it's big brothers of the 1997 and 1998 vintage. Don't hold any longer: 86 P.
