In a word, WOW.

The 1989 Haut Brion Pessac Leognan White KS and I shared was without question one of the finest bottles of wine I have ever tasted. This bottle is right next to it at such a young age.

An explosive nose of green apple, pineapple, lilac and honey. A very full bodied wine of rich pineapple, pear, honey with a light touch of vanilla.

I can still taste this wine. Cool

Without a doubt one of the GREAT white wines on the planet today. I only wish it wasn't so expensive. Thanks for the TN.

The was my wine of the night, and enjoyed how it evolved over 3+ hours.

Haut Brion whites are simply extraordinary. I often think while drinking them that they exhibit flavors of great Sauternes, yet a dry wine.

Near perfection... Cool

Thanks a lot for the notes. You managed to get me online to buy one bottle!
Based on your bottle, what would you suggest in term of food to go with it?

I should stop reading the TN here. I'm always ending up buying a few more wines!

I so wanted to taste this wine but unfortunately since I was at the other table I just never managed to get around to tasting it. Hopefully soon.
