2003 Hartwell Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Misté Hill - USA, California, Napa Valley, Stags Leap District (6/21/2008)

Anwar and Trigirl brought this over to our house last weekend and we drank it as we sat on the patio. This was among my top wines of the night. I thought it had an excellent balance between the fruit, tannin and oak. Medium to full bodied wine. Notes of currant, tar, black fruit and dusty earth. Silky texture and a long finish. 92-93 points.
