90% merlot, 10% cabernet franc from vines that are over 100 years old. Stephane Derenoncourt consults for this tiny estate. Deep dark red. Aromas of dark berries and ash. Full body and concentrated, 13% bv. Tobacco, smoke, cassis, wet dust, black currants, decayed flowers. Still tannic. Bottled unfiltered, it threw a lot of sediment. Medium/long finish. Very nice. Only 500 cases made.
