    Opened not decanted. Dark red, spicy and for some reason reminds me of redwoods! Nose of dried cherries, with a mid to back palate attack. Good stuff.

    My wife had this at the St. Helena Viticultural Society Tasting in June 2005. She liked this so much that SHE bought some on the way out of town. I almost had a heart attack...

    Opened not decanted. Garnet red with a noticable 16.3% alcohol level(!). Fig, blackberry, dark fruit, a trifle tannic with a spicy finish. Good. About to try it with homemade tomato soup.
