2004 Domaine Jean Garaudet Beaune 1er Cru Bélissand - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Beaune 1er Cru (11/4/2009) Right out of the glass, you had the feeling of a high acid wine with green notes and the palate confirmed the 1st impression. Plenty of red berries with a little bit of licorice, med body at best, Beaune in character. But acidity (and I love high acid wines) seems a little bit everywhere and an unpleasant green note is present. I'm not sure of how this is going to evolve but I'm not really confident. (87 pts.)
