popped & poured, note is about 10-15 min into the bottle...

subtle nose, but with excellent depth w/ aromas of vanilla, variety of red fruits, subtle baking spices & an attractive floral element... not quite as sweet in the mouth than the nose would suggest, lighter bodied with a muddy texture, wet leather and tart acid near the finish... lingering flavors & scents, but as subtle as the nose is... lovely, lovely wine... not what i consider to be a prototypical SRH Pinot, and i think this is mostly due to the vineyard's cooler location on the far west of the appellation, yet its still an excellent wine and representation of Pinot, and reaffirms my opinion that the best Cargasacchi Pinots are his own

Thanks for the note. Cargasacchi is quite the character and the excellent wines from his vineyards or no doubt the same.

But Cargasacchi sells grapes to a lot of winemakers - something on the order of 10 - 12 different winemakers (there could be more). So I’m just curious, have you had each of these to make your claim?
