i had it at a restaurant last weekend for $62. i was at a friends b-day party, so i didn't exactly take notes. the winery list it for $39 i believe. it left a good enough impression that, if i see it for $32, i will scoop it up without hesitation.

Bought a bottle for 31.99 at La Wine Co last week-... looking forward to trying it... not a big merlot fan, but have never had a Shafer Merlot.

Decant this wine. It needs it. But it delivers the goods.

i have tried this wine twice and was very dissapointed. merlot can express vegetal qualities but this was tight and green. not worth the money, and nowhere near previous vintages.
