Light amber and of moderate viscosity, this sweety had a drift of green apple in its bouquet accompanied by stronger notes of pineapple and peach. On first sip, the apple rapidly dissipated, and was replaced by a distinct sweet pineapple and a growing ripe white peach as the pineapple faded into the background. The acidity was well balanced and there was a long luxurious finish trumpeting the now dominant peachiness. This finish could be well extended by licking the lips, where residual wine adhered due to its viscosity. This wine is like a symphony with no discordant notes and everything where it belongs.

I also loved this wine. That's why I sent it you. Note- rbond and I traded bottles. He initiated this with a gift of a limited production Shiraz that we are serving tomorrow night when friends come over for dinner, the same friends that attended the Jersey dinner this past Saturday.
Btw, Jersey people, this is the Scheurebe Eiswein I brought to the dinner. Chime in with some opinions. I know lcc loved it- he asked me for the empty. Jazin and severeal others copied the info from the label. |

I'm glad I've got two of these still lying in the cellar.
