Medium clear ruby on color, the soft nose on this wine is really quite wonderful, showing sweet cherries, cocoa, and very light spice on a subtle earthy background. On the palate this wine is poised and elegant, with very soft, very fine tannins, fine acidity, and overall good balance. Finishes clean and medium in length, 90 points, drink now-2006. ~$40.
