2006 A. Margaine Champagne Blanc de Blancs Special Club - France, Champagne (1/11/2013)

Opened by a friend. I've had the regular premier cru brut from Margaine six times previously and this bottle was superior to any of them. Aromas of honeysuckle and almonds. Notes of strawberries, chalk, crisp apple and biscuit. Rather young and could use some more time in bottle. Tart finish. Better than the 2005 Gimonnet SC that we also drank. 92+ points.
