This must be one of Otis' favorite producers. I have been to his house twice and he has served me 3 different Cosentino wines. Like the other dessert wines, this was served in the winecellar where we were able to relax on the leather couch and smell the Melville Pinot air freshener. This wine retails for $30.

This dark purple fortified wine had 18% alcohol but did not tastye alcoholic. It had ripe dried old lady fruit notes. Full bodied with sharp red fruit notes on the finish. 88-89 points.

Since I am a member of Cosentino's Cellar Club, I have a ton of their stuff....It's usually pretty good quality.
