  • 2003 Lewis Cellars Chardonnay Napa Valley - USA, California, Napa Valley (9/30/2005)
    Opened my last one of these by mistake. Thought I was reaching for the 04. I could't belive how well integrated this 2004 was out of the bottle. Cloudiness was gone, colour has taken shape, then I looked at it again and realized, oops. After I got over being pissed I used up my last one, this was a great wine. Not as fat as the reserve but more acidity and balance. Granny Smith apple, honeydew and a slight mineraly 40sec+ finish. I would give this one more year for it to hit its peak. (96 pts.)
