1999 Domaine Francois Lamarche La Grande Rue Monopole - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée (9/11/2005)
Deep, dark black cherry and liquified stoney red fruits. Some oaky pickle come through on the nose. Firmly acidic but with plenty of balancing fruit (think '01 acids). Not so expressive at this point but has potential. ***+
