One of my favorite California cabernet sauvignon's. Served up with lamb chops and scalloped potatoes. The 1994 at age 10 (almost) is starting to drink really well. Dark ruby color to the rim. Nice nose of cherries and black berries. Delicious mouth coating drink with a finish that lasts a long time, complex and built to last. 97 points. Very happy to have six more plus two magnums.

It supprises me how little buzz I hear about Etube Cabs. I have only had the 97' and 99' but I count them as among the top 3-5 CA Cabs I've had.
I think it might be because Etude fell into the Beringer big company black hole a year or two ago. The Pinot Noir mailer I just received from them is starting have that big winery salesy feel to it with talk of future Cab allocations having strings attached to club membership.
This is turning into a rant, so I'll stop. Etude has made some great Cabs and it sounds like the 94 was another one.
I bought a '94-'98 Etude vertical solely based on the reviews I've read from people on this board. I've yet to try one, but I'm sure it won't disappoint.
"...and cloaked with wine I'll tell you that you're great."
