2000 Georges Duboeuf Moulin-a-Vent Flower Label

Served from cellar without decanting in Spigelau Bordeaux style glasses. Very pretty and clear ruby to garnet color in the glass. Mild oaken nose of berries that seemed earthly. Very bright tasting wine of berries and cherries. Balance was a bit awkward. Thin finish. Not a serious wine that should be drank now. I gave this 85 points, just below WS.

Here are the WS notes on this wine:

"Very good, with concentrated black cherry and chocolate flavors, and a firm yet sweet finish. Drink now. 30,000 cases made. (JM)" "WS-87 points."
