Great QPR wine with some age on it from Australia. Bought for about $30 a few years ago. Decanted two hours first. Still very tight initially. This wine can safely go another 5-6 years. Very distinct notes due to the Australian soil or terrior. Initially, the wine produced notes of shiraz spice with a dark medium body. After two hours, the wine calmed down to produce notes of herbs, tobacco, earth, peppers, and berries, and it seemed to put on weight (full-bodied). Definitely not American or French cab at all. If you drink now, let it breath for 3 hours first. Otherwise, be patient a few more years. Doc points=91+

I've got two bottles of the 1997, I think it is, which I'm letting sit a while longer. Thanks for the TNs! [Smile]
