We visited this winery 22 days ago. The dining room is high above the vineyard and we ate lunch there overlooking a few vineyard workers tending the vines. The food was good, but it's not really a dinner place, though fine for lunch. The wines were nothing special, but at least they were modestly priced. They were:

2003 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, 13% alcohol, $19- Tropical fruit nose. A little rough. 82

2001 Gewurtztraminer, $12-
Closed wild grape nose. Sharp. 80

2003 Escarpment Estate Riesling, 12% alcohol, $15- Light mineral nose and flavor. 83

2003 Pinot Noir, 12.5% alcohol, $19-
Cherry nose. Light berry flavors. 80

2002 Cabernet Merlot, 12.5% alcohol, $14-
Wet earth and cedar nose. Berry flavors. Sharp. 82

2002 red Cab, 54% Cabernet Franc, 46% Gamay Noir, 12.5% alcohol, $15- Closed nose with a hint of flowers. A little rough. 83

2002 Vidal Icewine, 11.2% alcohol, $40-
Honey and dried fruit nose. Well-balanced. 91

Just one more sip.

I'm impressed by your tasting note resilience on this trip - especially on the days when you wished you had a beer in your hand instead. Smile

It was fun, though my wife thinks the wines are not worth tasting. The area is beautifuil and we did other activities also.

Just one more sip.
