Tasted at the Enoteca in the fortress in Montalcino last week. From the South. Almost sweet, and was hot and out of balance. It had a long finish. Dark fruit showing as well. MLV liked it more than I did.

Decanted for 45 minutes last night. Improved quite a bit about 30 minutes after that, and the nose kicked in big time.

Color was fairly dark, with lots of amber showing. Very aromatic - dark cherry predominantly. Flavors were typical, but the finish was very nice and had pleasing complexity and length. 91pts.

Not that I would know, but it seems to have several years more of life, and drinks well now if decanted an hour.
