Drank Wednesday night with roast beef. Slightly fruity compared to other pinots I've had. Cherry and plum flavors on the palate. Smooth tannins and very nice finish. Very nice wine. I would rate at 90 points.

have not had the pinot, but try to get ahold of the '01 Chardonnay; word has it that Parker just gave it a 95 rating, and I can attest to it living up to the score.

meritage,

Parker gave the Alyce Chard 97, the Cahill Lane Chard 95, and the Esate Chard 92. There are some reviews of the Alyce in TNs a few weeks back. There might be some TNs of the others, too. Do you know which one you had?

Glad you liked this one. I purchase 3 recently from ratings....Parker gave it a 92 and Tanzer a 90. Looking forward to my first bottle sometime this year.

Thanks Meritage

I did purchase some of the Chard at the same time. Will probably open one tonight.

Whiner,
Could not tell you which one I had because I tasted it under a different label Confused (long story and I'll post if I get all the facts). Thanks for the information.
