Medium-red; floral, fruity nose with hint of mint. Nice fruit; smooth, lingering finish. Needed 1.5 hrs of decanting to open up. Needs more time; still has fruit to improve. Was expecting more, however. 89 points.

Dark ruby colour. Aromas of mint, chocolate, cherry, blackberry, earth, anise, and lavender. Medium-full bodied with black fruit, spice, mint, herbs, and black plums. Moderate-long finish with black plums. Drinking great now, but will hold for several years. Was great with a grilled veal chop. 92 points (08/07/2004).

I've had this twice and could not see why it was so highly considered, but of course I am not exactly know gor "getting" Italian wines....

I have two more and intend to let them sit until Futronic says they are fully ripe.

Pistons rule!

Dark ruby/black colour. Aromas of black plums, mint, chocolate, blackberry, black cherry. Medium-full bodied, lush, and tasty, with notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, and black licorice. Moderate finish, with black fruit. Just a notch below my previous bottle. 90 points (07/31/2005).

At the Toronto offline.

Peppery, hot nose. A little rough and out of balance. 86

Just one more sip.

I would start drinking the wine, yes. If I were you, I would have popped a bottle last year also.
