Tight dusty Cabernet nose. Elegant coffee and dusty tannin. Very elegant complexity of mixed herbs (cloves, basil, thyme). Great length and complexity. Very bright new world style. Oak is still working its way into this wine.

Had this last nite decanted 1 hour. Deep ruby color with slinky exotic legs in the glass. Nose of eucalyptus, menthol and fresh herbs. These notes follow through on the palate and are then joined with black fruit, graphite and a slightly green vegal note on the finish. The weight is not there feeling watery on the midpalate and slightly short on the finish.

Disappointing, 88gg points!
Cheers!
