I liked this wine. Medium weight. Balanced with nice oak notes and a earthy character. Went well with a meal. Displays a tartness (not totally offputting) that I'm starting to think is indicative of the 1999 vintage. Will probably improve for several more years. The ultimate praise: I wish I had bought another bottle or two. Recommended.
