This was one of the best wines, QPR at least, I tasted here in London. A mix between a typical big and rich Aussie shiraz and a big southern Rhone - fat blueberries, bacon, Welch's concord grape juice like it was when I was a kid.
I would buy lots of this if it was available in Ontario. And I hope to try the lesser bottling of their shiraz at about half the price tonight, if I can find it, as Decanter just gave it high praise.

I didn't see this post until after I responded to the Petit Verdot TN. So I'll just repeat the part pertaining to the shiraz...
"I ... found it opaque in appearance, and very dense, creamy, with lots of plum and black fruit flavour concentration. Although the fruit was supposedly sourced from the Barossa and McLaren Vale, I thought it tasted more like a coolish-weather shiraz (more like, but not quite, a Victoria shiraz). I would have rated it a 90-91 wine."
