So those of you familiar with Virginia wines know that the majority of them aren't worth the bother, although they generally do a pretty good job there with chardonnay, viognier and cab franc.

But here's my column on six wines from Barboursville Vineyards that are all worth drinking. Yes, these are not your parents' Virginia wines.
