2006 Alphonse Mellot Sancerre Domaine La Moussière - France, Loire Valley, Upper Loire, Sancerre (3/16/2008) This wine needs time. It started very rounded by wood with nice flavors of lemon, asparagus and honeydew. After 3 days, the wood became very much integrated and the wine showed tremendously well, as usual with mellot, with a lot of minerality and acidity. A lot of potential. Wait at least 2-3 years.
