This is a really good QPR wine that is ready to drink now. Big Grin
Dark color with a bit of purple. Medium clarity. Nice nose of dark fruit over spicy oak and smoke.
Smooth on the pallet with a nice mouth filling chewy texture. Lots of dark fruit, berries, and spice over a smokey oak backbone. A mild note of puckering tanins appear at the back end. Medium finish with spice and a quick fruity burst.

Really a good buy at $13.
I enjoyed this one. My rating: 88pts.

Thanks for the notes. I always find this wine to be an excellent QPR. If you get a chance, try the ’98 – I have slipped it into blind tastings with tremendous results.
