The label says : red Wine and the vintner calls it
Bordeaux Blend. The blend consists of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 21% Merlot and 1% Malbec with all of the fruit coming from the Napa Valley.

We liked this $35 cuvee for it's unpretensioness, old world style, balance, cellaring potential and openness.

Few words about the label itself:
white label with black word Girard,
it can't be simpler.

In my humble observation, the fancier, catchy the label is, the less quality is in the bottle, and this simple label is not an exception.
