The nose was redolent of oak, pears, and spice. On the palate it was rich and buttery with with apples and oak predominating. 89 points.

Just one more sip.

Board-O,

Do you happen to remember how you rated past vintage of the Katherine's vineyard? I liked the 00 (86) less than the 99 and 98 (88 each) and wondered your thoughts?

I used to like the QPR on these but have not had one in quite a while. I do have a '99 and '00 (one each) in cellar and may use them up this weekend with house guests for a side by side test.

I don't believe I ever had the '98 or '99.

Just one more sip.
