Picked this up at Costco, 18 bucks. This wasnt worth 8 bucks, let alone 18. Super oak with notes of burnt tar and an off flavour I cant put my finger on. Almost as if it tastes green. Dont waste a dime, a dissapointing Gigondas from Caves des Papes, the last 2 vintages were alot better.

Thanks for the notes Flubis. I usually buy this wine, but have passed on the '01 because of the 81 rating WS gave it. You have confirmed it. I also enjoyed the '99 and 2000 bottlings.

Im glad I only got 1 to check it out. I tried it again at the end of the night to confirm in. Its still sitting on my counter with a few glasses leff, right next to the empty bottle of Rosenblum Zin

Can I return them to Costco even without the receipt?
