2002 Roar Pinot Noir Garys' Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands (9/18/2005)
Purchased from the winery for $40. Cloudy ruby color. Brambly nose, with some traces of cinnamon. Wonderfully expansive in the mouth, with wild strawberry, black cherry, and graham cracker flavors. Solid finish, shaded with a touch of astringency. Drink now through 2007. (91 pts.)
