Bottle #1, 1.5 years ago: deep golden color, announcing oxydation

Bottle #3
A convincing bottle this time. Straw yellow color, nice interplay of lime and mineral notes on one side, honey and nutty notes on the other side. Balanced in the mouth and something typical to Meursault i'd call a slightly granular texture.
Drink now and 3-4 next years

Interesting bottle. Was it from cellar or from retail?

Got it 2 years ago from a small local shop.(The owner is a Burgundy fanatic) From time to time they get a few cases of 'ready to drink' bottles, directly from Matrot. This year they had the 1999 version of the Meursault-Blagny, which is more long-lived than the 1998 i think.
