Both splash decanted, the pichon has a great nose nice midpalate with fresh fruit finishes a bit short, difficult vintage but a good bottle 89. Beringer is big and muscular with wonderful nose of espresso , black fruit and currants, full body with nice long finish 92.

Thanks for the note on the 94 Lalande. I have 1 bottle of this and have been waiting on it. Do you think it is at it's peak now, or will it improve a bit more with some time?
TIA

Given the vintage i think this is ready in the sense that i suspect further ageing will not transform this wine into something outstanding.
