Nothing like the life of the man who's name is born on the label...

Deep ruby with hints of black. 15% alcohol on the label. Notes of mint leaf, dirt, cherry, and a green tobacco/weediness that throws this wine off. Certainly servicable, but not deserving of the name. Moderate herbal finish. Not my cup of tea. 83 pts.
