Popped and poured. Initial nose of fresh cut grass, cherry liquor and vanilla. On palate it had massive black fruits, vanilla, sweet oak (in balance), and smokey flavors. The tannins were very harsh, as expected, with a herbal bite. After 90 mins the tannins has mellowed quite a bit. Very nice wine that should hit stride in another 3-5 years meriting 2-3 higher pts.
