For the horse racing fans out there, this saturday is the Super Bowl of horse racing. For the first time it is being held at Arlington Ractrack in Arlington Heights, Illinois. (about 30 minutes from Chicago). There are 8 different races, and the best horses from around the world compete against each other. I thought I would share with you, who I think are very good longshots. You can make a lot of money by simply betting these horses across the board. (Win, Place, and Show).

1. The best horse that will not be the favorite in the DISTAFF is Farda Amiga.

2. The best longshot in the MILE is Aldebaran

3. The best longshot in the SPRINT is Kalookan Queen.

4. The best longshot in the JUVENILE FILLIES is Ruby's Reception.

5. the best longhot in the FILLY & MARE TURF is Owsley.

6. The best longshot in the JUVENILE is Listen Indy.

7. The best longshot in the TURF is Falcon Flight

8. The best longshot in the CLASSIC is Hawk Wing.

Are any of the Chicago area Forumites going to Arlington on Saturday? If you decide to bet, GOOD LUCK.

IW

Sorry, I meant to put this in Wine Conversations.

Mountainman,

I had the exacta and superfecta with Farda Amiga running 2nd and the trifecta with Falcon Flight running third.

Bottom line, at the end of the day were you buying Cristal or Arbor Mist?

I've never been one for the exotics, usually straight up wagers. I love how you can get horses at the BC races who have been reeling off winning streaks and go off at 10:1, etc.

Mountainman,

By the end of the day I would say somewhere in between Cristal and Arbor Mist. I would say Vueve Clicquot Yelow label. Had a good time with friends and made some money. Thats what it is all about. The one thing that is still making me sick is I had an All/Volponi exacta wheel, and he goes ahead and wins the race instead of running 2nd.
