This was a gift from a friend, so I've no idea about the cost and was unable to find out anything of substance on the producer. Nontheless...

Cloudy medium-dark red in color, earthy intriguing nose shows cigar box, medium fruit, and a very slight vegetative note. Very food friendly wine, subtle and refined, tannins are present but not obvious with food, very complementary.
