Maybe my expectations were too high given how much I enjoyed the '01 Dutton, but I wasn't too impressed with this vintage. Hopefully, it is just bottle shock. Cloudy straw in color with aroma of pear, green apple and butter. Medium bodied and lacking complexity. Subtle pear and oak influences. Rather disappointing.

Doesn't hold my attention like the '01. Will have to revisit in a couple of months.
