WIML,
I ran into Purple today Downtown and she said you liked a wine and bought some last night from Mike.
I bought two bottles of this and two bottles of the 2004 Castello della Sala (Antinori) Chardonnay Umbria IGT. At these price points ($25.49 and $12.74) I consider them good value wines and recommend them on that basis.
If the BdM and Guado al Tasso had been about $10.00 a bottle cheaper I probably would have bought two each of those to toss in the cellar and see if they'd come around a bit after another year or two.
