3rd bottle of a 6-pack and by far the best, though the first two weren't slouches. Deep ruby-purple, leggy, a slight touch of sediment, and plenty of crushed red fruit, herbs, and the right kiss of soft, sweet vanillin oak. Really taste the carmenere on the palete - raspberry/blackberry notes w/a touch of tobacco, earth, and again that lightest touch of new oak. A great balance of finesse and power. 92-93 pts. and holding - much more my style of red than most cabs on the market these days. This message has been edited.
