No formal notes taken. I didn't know the history behind this wine so I had the good fortune to approach it with an open mind and no premonitions. The nose showed exceptional purity of red fruit: cherries, raspberries, wild strawberries. Exceptionally pure, focused, and elegant on the palate, though still very very young. Just an elegant, pure, structured wine at this point with many good years ahead. 94-95+ points.
